Excelsior School of Excellence was founded to empower Black students through culturally affirming, rigorous, and interdisciplinary learning. We prioritize STEM, literacy, and social justice, ensuring students excel academically while developing the confidence and leadership to uplift their communities and shape the future.

Holistic Student Development
We cultivate emotional intelligence, resilience, and leadership through integrated social-emotional learning. Students develop self-awareness, strong relationships, and the confidence to lead and advocate for change.
Interdisciplinary &
Inquiry Based Learning
We integrate subjects through inquiry-based learning, connecting STEM, literacy, humanities and the arts. Students use research and statistics to analyze real-world issues, making learning meaningful.

Experiential & Global Learning
